What is a crawl space vapor barrier?
A heavy plastic sheet laid over the soil, and often up the walls and around piers, that keeps ground moisture out of the crawl space. It's one of the most effective ways to reduce humidity and musty odors.
Can you remove a dead animal from my crawl space?
Yes. We remove the animal and any contaminated material, sanitize the area and seal the entry point so it doesn't happen again.
Do you install sump pumps?
Yes. Where standing water is a problem we can add drainage and a sump pump before sealing the crawl space.
How do I know if my crawl space needs cleaning?
Musty smells in the house, signs of rodents, sagging or fallen insulation, standing water or a torn vapor barrier are all good reasons to have it inspected. The inspection is free.
